Our Brisbane based College in the Redlands suburb of Wellington Point is a recognised leading provider of Work Health and Safety (WHS) training, development and consultation services both locally and interstate.

Our staff are experienced trainers possessing strong industry background and a comprehensive working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Work Health and Safety (WHS).

Our nationally recognised Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety BSB41412 is often the minimum requirement for OHS/WHS management in Australian workplaces, as this course is relevant to all representatives, supervisors, safety officers and safety committee members who manage and identify work health & safety risks and hazards. The Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) supercedes the Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety Course BSB41407, and is now the safety standard.

The College offer a range of qualifications in a variety of facilitation methods, including face to face, online or with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), including Advanced Diploma of Work Health & Safety, Lead Auditor in WHS Management Systems, Diploma of Work Health & Safety, Certificate IV in WHS and Certificate IV TAE40110 (Training and Assessment).

From January 1 2015, all students will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to be able to obtain their certificate or qualification from any Registered Training Organisation (RTO) when studying nationally recognised training in Australia.

A USI gives every student access to their online USI account which will help keep all training records together, regardless of where the student obtained their qualifications. The USI is available online, and at no cost to the student (it takes about 3 minutes to complete). This USI will stay with the student for life and be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course undertaken from 1 January 2015. Each student's individual USI number will need to be written on the Course Confirmation paperwork on the day of training. We will not be able to issue a certificate or qualification without this number being declared. For more information, please visit www.usi.gov.au

Awareness + Acceptance = Change

ACHS is pleased to be able to offer a dual qualification - Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and Certificate IV Training & Assessment face to face which provides the graduate with 2 nationally recognised training qualifications for only $2700.00.
